my friend and I have been on this guild for a few days now and have been told. "if you need help just ask" well I have asked for help many times and have been told that I do not have what it takes to continue with the game unless I have this one piece of gear. This is crap since I know for a fact that there are some who have been helped the whole time. I feel like there is much that could be done to help those that are new to the free company.

I have been told that for where my friend and I are in the game that we "NEED TO GRIND WANDER'S PALACE" OVER AND OVER. well the thing is I know that there are those whom have offered help but when someone else comes on they disband to help them. I do not think this is how people should act.

I know this seems like a rant or a dis to the company but it is not. I am simply stating a few facts that I have seen in the last few days.

You asked us what's needed for AK, so we tell you that some DL would be good to have for it. So to get DL you have to do The Wanderer's Palace a lot, which we all know sucks, but everyone has to do it.
I've only recently been back online, and the first day i saw you ask for some people to go to WP with you. I decided to go, because i had never played with you. The whole time we were there you were trying to tell me how to play my job, while you were playing yours incorrectly. That makes me not want to play with you again. That, coupled with the fact that you ask for people to join you like 10 times makes it really hard for people to want to help you. There's is no need to spam.
We ARE here to help, but there's a better way to ask for it, and there's much better ways to act towards people who are trying to help you while in dungeons.

I honestly don't recall who all I've grouped with, so I can't comment directly on Tamen's situation. In fact, what follows is not directed at him.

Speaking for myself, I know I help people. A lot. In fact, that's pretty much all I do. I login, the moment someone asks for help with anything, I go do that. That's the reason I've only got one profession to 50 and only one more above 20. My tradeskills are almost all at 0. My gear is decent, but hardly end game l33t. Heck, I haven't even picked up the first item needed for my artifact weapon, and I'm sporting just one piece of Darklight, despite having played since the head start.

I don't really ever complain. I don't fret if I die a lot. And I spend most of my playtime doing things that don't benefit me at all, because they're below my level or ahead of where I'm at on quest chains.

My point is not to paint myself as the grand martyr, but rather to demonstrate I didn't join a guild so they can get me to the end as quickly as possible. I joined to be part of a team of good people, and if I advance or don't, I'm OK with that.

Once again, my response is not directed at Tamen, but at people in general, so please read it accordingly and ask yourself the following questions. If you want help from the guild, that's fine. But how much time do you spend helping others in return? Do you drop what you're doing and run over, even when you stand to gain NOTHING from the affair? And if you're not doing that, what can you really demand in return?
