Hey, everyone its been quite sometime since I have played FFXIV:ARR, for the past couple of days I have been trying to renew my subscription after my free month trail had ended, but for the past 3 days or so every time I either enter my debit card or my credit card, it keeps telling me this error code called 406. I have the funds to pay for the monthly fee, and I have updated my billing address information, but still to no avail it wont let me renew my subscription. If anybody in the guild has had this problem, what did you do to fix it and for you to be able to renew your subscription?


P.S. I miss everyone in the guild, and I really want to play again very badly.

Hey Jawa, I actually had this same problem. It was something to do with my bank and SE not working together.

The easiest way to get around this is to pay for your subscription with Crysta, Square Enix's "Currency." You can purchase Crysta a lot of different ways, the easiest being with paypal, I've found.

At the Mogstation after you login, just click on "Square Enix Account Settings," then "Add Crysta," and then its pretty self-explanatory.
