Mark Twain once wrote, 'there ain't no surer way to find out whether you like people or hate them, than to travel with them.' When three friends encounter a stranger in the desert, their friendship is tested; multiplying the good in life, and dividing its evils. Derrick, Allison and Kurt abandon the city for a little vacation. Derrick and Kurt are best friends. Allison and Derrick are engaged to be married. Kurt believes that rules were made to be broken. Allison thinks Kurt needs to grow up. But Kurt's talent for mischief will soon draw the attention of an unwelcome stranger; a man who will teach them that in order to survive in the desert, one must follow the rules - his rules.
